VHT Quality Assurance Program (QAP)

The VHT (QAP) reflects our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. Our QAP incorporates lessons learned from our successful performance on Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Task Order (MATO) contracts.  Our QAP integrates operational and programmatic metrics collected from our program management information systems. Our QAP provides a planned and systematic quality control process that covers every aspect of our operations under our contracts.

We focus our QAP and organization on performance improvements and root cause analysis and prevention, insight instead of oversight.  This plan results in early detection of problems and errors during contract performance and in the delivery of quality products and services on schedule and within budget.  Our QAP is based on overall contract and technical performance quality factors and process metrics.  All activities are focused on customer satisfaction and leveraging lessons learned into performance enhancement throughout the program.

Our QAP is based on a commitment to continuous improvement throughout our Program Organization.  Our approach to quality is straightforward and is derived from the key quality processes espoused by ISO, the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMM) Level 3, and follows the Six-Sigma approach for quality improvement.  The Six Sigma approach to quality improvement entails achieving the six-sigma level of precision through a five step process:

DMAIC: (1) Define; (2) Measure; (3) Analyze; (4) Improve; and Control.
